Casey brings over 19 years of private industry and public accounting experience to the firm. He specializes in providing tax consulting, compliance and investor reporting to large, billion-dollar private equity organizations. Casey has deep knowledge of the entire fund cycle, experience he gained while serving as the fund tax manager for a global asset management entity. He has dealt with complex tax issues associated with limited partner entities including corporate and public pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, university endowments, foundations, fund of funds and high net worth individuals. He is highly experienced in addressing international and domestic taxation issues for foreign and domestic partners.
Casey served as the chief financial officer for a real estate development company with over a billion dollars in assets. In this capacity, he was responsible for the tax, accounting, finance, and human resources functions. Casey began his career in public accounting at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP (NKA RSM) and also spent over four years with EY where he served global real estate opportunity funds and private equity organizations. Casey is a graduate of Baylor University and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and real estate.
