Sarah has over two decades of public accounting experience, providing tax compliance and consulting services to closely held private companies. Sarah is co-leader of the firm’s Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution (MRD) niche group, and specializes in addressing the tax complexities associated with tangible property regulations. In addition to MRD, Sarah also serves clients in the real estate industry addressing all phases of the business cycle, from start-ups and rapid growth to mature companies and business owners seeking exit strategies and other liquidity events. Sarah provides tax consulting and compliance services to high-net-worth individuals and their related entities. She addresses complex tax issues associated with the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, including the Qualified Business Income Deduction (Section 199A) and Limitation on Business Interest Deduction (Section 163(j)).
As a leader in the firm’s tax department, she serves on various committees to keep our firm connected and informed. Sarah works with the IT department in creating multiple databases that facilitate communication between team members and helps drive the firm's tax training initiatives for new hires to senior accountants. Through her training and mentorship, she actively contributes to helping HCVT team members grow in their careers.
Sarah graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and began her career in public accounting at EY.
