His extensive experience spans real estate, media and entertainment, wholesale/retail, technology, healthcare and life sciences.
Throughout his career, Greg has addressed tax reporting challenges associated with complex transactions within various entity structures, including partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations. He specializes in guiding clients through intricate processes, including partnership allocations, purchase price allocations, and the tax evaluation and implication of various sale alternatives.
An authority in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), Greg has extensive experience providing advisory services for both buy-side and sell-side transactions. His strategic approach aims at maximizing tax savings and minimizing costly delays for clients. Greg is proficient in leveraging the intricacies of tax regulations to provide insightful analyses of tax efficiencies for proposed deal structures, conducting thorough tax due diligence and modeling to ensure a comprehensive understanding of potential opportunities and risks.
Greg graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and has a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Active in his community, Greg serves as the treasurer of Team Prime Time, an organization committed to providing intervention programs for at-risk and disabled youths in Los Angeles. Prior to joining HCVT, Greg began his career at Deloitte.
