We created the HCVT Career BREAKTHROUGH Experience to help shape your future career in public accounting and to recruit and retain the next generation of CPAs and advisors.

We offer two opportunities for students to engage, learn, and grow:
EARLY ID: NAVIGATE PROGRAM
HCVT has developed a program to help students early in their undergraduate studies explore careers in public accounting. NAVIGATE connects students with HCVT professionals for virtual and in-person sessions where they’ll learn more about the firm and public accounting.

You will receive guidance and tips for navigating the campus recruiting process, professionalism in the workplace, and job interviewing.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The HCVT internship program is an immersive, real-world experience that helps students understand a day in the life of a public accountant or advisor. You’ll be exposed to client work and participate in first-class training courses.
Our internships aren’t all about work. Be prepared to have fun and start building relationships that will last a lifetime.

Who should apply to the HCVT internship program?
We seek well-rounded candidates who are proactive team players with strong communication skills. In addition, applicants should have an overall and accounting GPA of 3.0 or higher.
What will interns do?
Interns will do client work, receive technical training, and participate in team bonding activities.
How will an HCVT internship benefit me?
Our internship program will prepare you for a career in professional services. This program will help you transition smoothly into your first, full-time role after graduation.
Candidate Requirements for Internships
Audit, Tax, and Business Management:
Major: Accounting or emphasis/minor in Accounting (must be CPA eligible before you start full-time employment)
Valuation:
Major: Finance or Accounting
GPA: 3.0 minimum cumulative and in Finance or Accounting
The summer internship program typically begins in mid-June and the winter internship program typically begins in early January.
Entry-Level Staff Positions
Not all of our new staff members come right out of college. Many come from private industry and other professions. We find that these team members’ skills and experiences bring diversity in thought and different perspectives. HCVT offers career paths in audit, tax, and business management.
