Yira joined Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP as a senior manager in April 1998. Prior to that, she headed up the tax department at an insurance company. She began her career at KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP and left there after eight years.

She specializes in providing professional tax services to closely held and owner-managed companies in a variety of industries, including real estate, investment partnerships, manufacturing, retail and distribution.

Yira graduated from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting. She also received her master’s degree in taxation from Golden Gate University. Yira is currently a member of the Board of two non-profit organizations.
