Audit

Sam Bachstein is a principal in the firm’s audit & attest group and has over 14 years of experience in the accounting profession serving manufacturing, distribution, high-tech, and service industries, as well as trusts and private foundations.  Prior to joining HCVT, Sam was an audit manager at a local L.A. based accounting firm specializing in audits of publicly-traded companies.  He also worked in the private sector in the accounting and finance group of a publicly-traded company where he was responsible for preparing the company’s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. 

Sam received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University, Northridge and is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Furthermore, Sam is currently a member of the board for a not-for-profit and for-profit organization.
