Raman has over ten years of experience in public accounting, seven of which were with the Big Four, and has specialized in providing assurance and transaction advisory services to private equity and strategic buyer clients. Immediately prior to joining HCVT, Raman worked in the Mergers & Acquisition (“M&A”) practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP in Los Angeles. Focusing on accounting due diligence for private equity funds and strategic buyers, he gained experience in a wide variety of industries including software, manufacturing, retail and distribution.

Raman joined HCVT as a senior manager in October 2006. He is currently involved in the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services Group which provides M&A clients with accounting and tax due diligence services and other transaction services such as advice on transaction structuring and assistance with post-closing purchase price adjustments. HCVT’s Transaction Advisory Services Group focuses on issues that are critical to our clients’ evaluation of a target company such as:

• Revenue recognition
• Quality of earnings
• Timing and risks related to cash flows
• Working capital requirements
• Other financial reporting and internal control matters

The firm’s Transaction Advisory Services Group has broad experience which includes manufacturing, retail, distribution, service businesses and high technology companies including software companies.

Raman holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from California State University, Northridge. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
