Morris joined HCVT in September 2004 after 15 years of experience with a national accounting firm, a local accounting firm in the Beverly Hills area and a “Big 4” accounting firm.

Morris has extensive experience in the real estate industry, including commercial real estate, homebuilders, and the affordable housing industry. In addition, Morris has developed an expertise in planning and performing audits of low-income housing tax credit projects, HUD projects and projects financed with tax-exempt bonds. Morris has also performed numerous cost certifications, eligible basis analysis, due diligence engagements, agreed upon procedure engagements and other financial reporting required for tax credit properties.

Morris received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State University, Northridge and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
