Tax

Gina is a tax principal in the firm’s Long Beach office specializing in tax compliance and consulting services to middle market, closely held companies and their owners in the manufacturing and distribution industries, as well as to large publicly held corporations in the grocery industry. Prior to joining HCVT, Gina’s career included five years at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, as well as two years as the corporate tax manager of a large grocery chain.

Gina has extensive experience in tax planning for individuals, as well as for corporate and partnership clients. She assists clients on buy/sell issues, multi-state tax minimization strategies, tax credit maximization, individual trust and estate tax planning, and representing clients before federal and state taxing authorities. Gina has recently been involved in California Enterprise Zone credit studies for her current and prospective clients.

Gina received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Southern California. She is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and was published in one of their monthly magazines. In addition, Gina is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is currently a member of the South Bay Estate Planning Council where she has served on the Board for five years in various positions, including President.
