The Partners of Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP (HCVT), a nationally recognized accounting firm, are pleased to announce the promotion of Victor Gonzales to Partner in the tax practice of the firm’s Long Beach office.
With over 13 years of experience in advising middle market and high net worth clients on business and tax matters, Victor joined Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP in 2001 as a Principal and has played a key role in developing the firm’s Tax Credits and Incentives Practice and growing the firm’s Long Beach business by 54 percent during calendar 2002. Victor specializes in providing tax and consulting services to manufacturing, and distribution and service companies, as well as their respective ownership groups, and will be responsible for continuing to assist with the firm’s growth in the Southern California marketplace.
Prior to joining HCVT, Victor’s career included 11 years within the Big Four public accounting industry and 2 years as a Vice President for an Asset Management Company.
Victor is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of CPA’s and currently serves on the National Board of the 3,000-member Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (“ALPFA”). He received his bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University in 1989.
