About the Author/Public Speaker

Carol Frischer graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and her career as a collections manager began more than 19 years ago with one of the largest public accounting firms in Los Angeles. Her unique and positive approach to collecting past due accounts has made her a much sought-after consultant to multi-million dollar corporations. Over the years, Carol has collected large sums of money for clients across the country. She has successfully collected past due receivables from debtors in other countries by simply placing a phone call and has had clients pay their debts even after they filed bankruptcy.

Carol was featured in a BusinessWeek Online article title "How to Beat the Deadbeats." Carol provides lots of tips on making sure you collect what you're owed: "You do get tough, but you don't have to get nasty." She also had an article in the TAXPRO Quarterly Journal Spring Edition entitiled "When the Checks Not in the Mail."

She is a contributing writer for several magazines including the Los Angeles Business Journal and Professional Collectors Magazine and writes a popular monthly column for National Credit News called "Carol's Corner," which addresses various collection questions from credit managers across the United States and Canada.

About the Seminars

In 1997, Carol created a comprehensive seminar entitled "Collecting Accounts Receivable." The seminar is based upon the contents of her book and Carol is currently presenting her "Collections Made Easy" seminars throughout the United States. Carol incorporates humor in her presentations and her message is directed to both personal and business situations. People from coast to coast have left her seminars inspired, motivated and armed with ideas they could put to use immediately.
